  • One treatment prevents further flea infestation for at least four weeks
  • Kills adult fleas, eggs and larvae
  • Remains effective even after swimming or shampooing

  • Best flea treatment I've tried. Fleas were gone within 24 hours. I noticed he had stoped biting and whining also within 24 hours. It actually lasted 2 weeks longer than they said it should on the package which is nice in this economy if it last longer you use less and pay less. I will definitely buy this product again when I run out.
Advantage II Flea & Tick control This up! Better than Frontline. Advantage works fast and really controls those parasites. Within weeks he has stopped biting and scrathching. .
Works great! Both my dogs weigh in at around 50 lbs. & have access to the outdoors on a regular basis so they're bound to pick up fleas. However one tube of these drops per month seems to be keeping the fleafree so I'll definitely keep on using it.
Bayer Advantage II We are using this product for a while now. The product controls fleas etc. very effective when used as instructed. We recommend this product although the price is quite high.
two year old product I received product dated 2009!I think customers should be informed before purchase or do not sell old product.I will not buy from this source again.
Product Review I have tried several flea products over the years for my dogs and this is the first one that really seems to work. it is not 100% I have one dog that is very prone to fleas but it seems to take care of him after the 2nd month application. As for my other dog he does not have any problem at all after the first application. I would really recommend this product.
Only thing that worked This is the best price for the only product that actually works to get rid of fleas on my dogs and free shipping.
Product works great Frontline was failing miserably for us. I switched to Advantage II and the fleas are quickly and finally gone. Only draw back is that it doesn't kill ticks.
Bayer's product confusion This is not the flea and tick product.Beware the differences and confusion between Bayer's two similarly named products Advantage II versus Advantix II.
Ineffective! Since buying Advantage 2 we've had the worst flea problem for over 6 months. We've treated the yard and our home several times and still haven't had luck. The fleas are still thriving on our pets. Because of our terrible problem both dogs have had to have regular deworming treatments and the collie has come down with a bad case of flea dermatitis. As I write this I just found flea eggs on my pillow case my dog had laid on and on my dress after he sat in my lap. Advantage 1 and 2 are supposed to kill flea eggs and more so Adv 2 is supposed to prevent fleas from breeding. The dogs are covered and we put this month's treatment on them over a week ago. This is ridiculous in the 20+ years I've lived in FL I've never had a problem with fleas.

  • Nope Not only did this not show up on time at all but it doesn't work at all. Very not pleased but now I found some stuff that did work and all is well for me but the product not good at all.
Safe &t Effective for Goats as well as dogs cats & horses Years ago I used to regularly purchase this product thu my vet for my dogs and cats when they got fleas. I hadn't used it in years due to the ease of the once a month flea drops available thru Veterinarians.
Die Fleas! Hands down this is the best spray that I have ever used for fleas on my dogs. I apply as directedFirst the neck down back to the tail then down legs to feet. As soon as you spray you immediately see fleas jump off to die! You can use the spray once a week but I usually spray once a month. I used to be able to find this spray at Walmart but not anymore so Thanks to Amazon I was able to order some.
never again! First of all the bottle leaked all over the inside of the carton. There wasn't much left when I got it.Secondly I found it only effective for making my cats foam at the mouth and be highly irrated with me. It didn't stay on their coats/skin long enough to kill at thing other than their appreciation of me.I tried a bit on the sofa in an inconsicuous area thankfully.I'm back to good ol' fashioned borax for carpet and upolstery flea treatments. Much more effective and lots safer.
Best stuff out there After many years at our house with a cat and a dog we never once had fleas. Then we moved to a new house and all of a sudden I couldn't walk 3 feet without getting 89 fleas jumping at my legs! The solution? The good ol' flea bomb. However after 3 heavy duty vacuumings one lasted for 2 and a half hours for a single room 2 flea bombs and a topical flea treatments for the animals we still had fleas within a week!I bought one bottle of this Ovitrol spray sprayed it on various places around the house and haven't seen a flea since. Most of our floors are hardwood and so it was easy to find the target areas to spray the areas where the flea bombs apparently missed. From what I can tell the spray basically contains the same stuff most flea bombs do but in an easy to target spray form.I will say that this stuff does have a strong rubbing alcohol smell to it so make sure you use it in a ventilated area. Other than that there are no complaints to be said.
Finally my dog and cat have relief We never had fleas on our pets until we moved into a new house where the former residents had dogs. The fleas have gotten way out of control since summer began. Both animals have always been on Frontline but it was not effective against the huge infestation in our carpeted areas and furniture. We are in the now in the middle of a giant eradication project pets house and yard.I bought this product and it showed up within just a few days. Today I tried it on them for the first time. I put the cat on a towel in the middle of the kitchen floor and sprayed the her first. She didn't like the spray so I put on latex gloves and sprayed my fingers and then worked my fingers through her fur all over her body. The dog ended up being treated with the same method. I then ran a comb through their fur and pulled off tons of dead and dying fleas. If any live fleas dropped on the towel I sprayed them immediately and they quit moving within seconds.By the time I had finished the dog the cat had attempted to groom her coat. She stopped after just a few seconds. Then she started drooling and foaming at the mouth. This eventually stopped and she's back to acting normal. This product is worth it's weight in gold. And these days that's a lot.
Orvitrol Plus Spray I must say this product Ovitrol Plus FleaTick & Bot Spray 16Oz Trigger Spray is great! Oh my goodness how well it works on fleas. Fleas hate this product with a passion. I will never go without having this product for my pet especially in the summer months. I know it works wonderfully. And you don't have to use a lot of it just aim and rub it in on your pets coat and they are good to go outside anywhere. Make sure you have this to spray on your carpets also.
just did not work for me i have put this stuff on my cat a number of times. she still has fleas and now so does the house. before this i never saw any fleas. since i sprayed the cat and rubbed the spray on the cat and sprayed the cat again they are everywhere. they are jumping off of her and NOT dying. the ones that i do catch trying to get off of her face i have put on a towel and sprayed directly. if you dont spray them at least twice to really soak the towel they are on they just jump off and wind up in the house. i have already used half the bottle and she still has fleas. with all of the good reviews i was really excited about the product. maybe i just got a bad batch i dont know but for $16.00 i wont try it again.
it works when nothing else will
Seems working for a few days I only used it once on my dogs and it seemed working for a few days. However I'm skeptical about its safety since the dogs like to lick themselves when they're wet. So I guess I'll only use it for spraying their beds and the house.

  • Great Stuff I have one cat who is in and out of the house and just lately I've noticed fleas on her. I use a flea comb which works great but used Sergeant's on the rugs and chairs and it works great. This stuff gets 5 stars from me.
fleabreeze Smells just like regular febreeze i love the smell but i don't think it's that great with helping out with fleas helps a littlebut not much.
sargent's flea spray I would not give any star because the 24 oz bottle exploded chemicals all over the delivery box & the 2 other items that I ordered. The mailman had to put all the chemical mess in a large black garbage bag & left it at my front door. I was told by an email to return everything to the supplier. I said that wasn't a safe thing to do. I they really wanted it back I could take it to the supplier themselves or to the Amazon warehouse that is near me & let them deal with the chemicals that were all over everything. In the end I didn't have to send everything back. I would not order such a thing by mail again. Unless the supplier used their brains & packaged their chemical things better.
This product really works!!! This is the only flea product that kills the fleas. I have a cat and she stays indoors. She has Flea Allergy Dermatitis so I am always trying to stay at least one step ahead of any flea problem. I have tried everything collars powders spraysnothing worked until I found Flea Free Breeze. I need to order more soon as we just moved to a new mobile home and I need to spray it down really good so my cat doesn't suffer.
Be careful about using Sargeant's & Hartz Mountain! If you websearch either brand you will find there are many complaints about both products KILLING PETS so make sure you understand this before subjecting your pet to these product esp. when there are plenty of less harmful products such as Adams.
Great Product This stuff is strong! It killed everything in the puppy box and since the pups were in contact with the carpet it killed everything on them too!Smells clean and fresh.
Better than FreeBreeze I think the smell last longer than the actual Free Breeze. Not sure about flea prevention..though we haven't spoted any of them lately. However we also put on flea collar for our dog and use bug spray when we go hiking.
Amazing We had a huge flea problem. I was killing fleas all day. I hated to get out of bed to even go to the bathroom. I hated coming home due to the fleas. I even found one on me in the parking lot of my place of employment ! I didn't know what to dothen I came cross THIS product. I read the reviews and decided to try it. Boy am I glad I did! I had instructed the family to open and read the directions as soon as the package arrived.
Very Pleasant Fragrance for preventative use We use this as part of a preventative plan. We have 3 dogs and one cat that are all indoor/outdoor. We started using this product back in April 2011 as part of a flea prevention plan. Because 2 of our dogs are Pomeranian's and our cat is long haired sometimes I think some of the monthly treatment gets lost in their fur and they don't get the full treatment no matter how hard we try.The cost
Might Work for Fleas But Doesn't seem to do anything for ticks as it says it will and that is my problem. Five hours ago I pulled one off of my leg and threw it onto the floor. Resisting the impulse to crush it I decided instead to test some of this product which I have been using on my dog's bed and on the furniture by spraying some directly onto the tick. It looked as though the tick was about to drown in it but I gently picked him up with a business card and placed him in a small tin can.Well five hours later the tick is alive and well and looks ANGRY! It nearly escaped when I checked on it it was moving so fast.I feel like the tick Angry at having wasted money on this product and trusted it to do its job. I believe that it WILL kill ticks however If youdrown them in it.You might as well use water it's free.

SERIOUSLY! **********EXTREMELY IMPORTANT**************THIS PRODUCT'S MAIN INGREDIENT IS PEPPERMINT OIL.THE ASPCA WARNS THAT PEPPERMINT IS POISONOUS TO CATS**********EXTREMELY IMPORTANT**************From the ASPCA's web site google ASPCA and peppermint for source Amazon does not allow hyperlinksIf ingested the peppermint plant and its oil could indeed potentially cause harm to your cat.
It's ok First I have to get my cats to hold still long enough to spray them and the bottle can be difficult to use because you have to pump it to get it to come out. It smells a lot better then most other flea stuff out there on the market but I try and just put it in the places where the fleas like to stay on them in the hard to read places. It works for small periods of time but you do have to spray it often to keep up with it.
cat poison Remember you get what you pay for. If you dont care about your cat go ahead and get this stuff. It almost killed mine in fact we are not sure if he is going to make it yet. He still will not eat or drink after 4 days of being lethargic. We have resorted to feeding him out of a syringe. He has a seizure every 20 min its so sad to see your friend who trusted you go through something like this. Go ahead search this subject you will be overwhelmed with cases just like mine. These natural oils used in this product namely peppermint clove are toxic to cats ASPCA. Stay away from these type of products ask a vet please dont hurt em.
Numb tongue after one spray to the tail This is going into the garbage can don't waste your money bad enough that I did. We sprayed our cat's tail and about 15 minutes later she was sitting with her tongue sticking out while her mouth was closed. Looking at her tail she must have licked it. I'm all for finding natural solutions vs. the toxicity of products like Frontline but this product is definitely not it.
Thrown in The Trash My cat has fleas so I was in petsmart looking to see what I could put on her while I waited for my order of capstar to get here. I didn't see any powder but I saw some sprays. I picked up this one over another one because it was one dollar cheaper. One dollar. It claimed to be natural and completely safe. So I get home and I spray her down. The first thing I notice is that the smell is overwhelming. It gave me a terrible headache that I had to lay down just to get it to go away. I can't imagine what it was like for her to be covered in the stuff. Her coat was pretty nasty looking but I imagine that's how it would be with any spray. A couple hours later I decide to read some reviews on it when I should have done this first. I was terrified.
not so bad for cats at all We have used this formula of plant oils to treat our 4 outdoor cats for years now. The first time using it the cats did react shocked by the odor and quite obviously disliked the taste even more when they tried to lick it off. After sulking quite dramatically for a day they were just fine again and have since become used to it. They do not try to lick it off anymore the first day and groom a bit more vigorously the second day after application. They are treated around once a month and the product IS very effective. Our cats are part of a seemingly wider cat community and of course the male cats tend to wander quite a bit. If we do not use the flea spray our cats will eventually start scratching. We have toddlers and kids in the house and are therefore wary of some of the other insect poisons useful to treat cats. Those may be odorless and tasteless but even the permethrins have been strongly implicated to have some relation to Alzheimers. Why risk it?The temporary discomfort of the bad smell to the cat we humans actually enjoy the scent is a small price to pay for our cats to enjoy a fulfilled life with our family.
Cat Has Flea Allergies I have many cats and live in Florida the flea capital of the world. One of my cats has severe flea allergies and will chew on herself constantly exhausting herself. She also gets scabby skin all over and hair loss where she's chewing. I have been using Advantage but it really doesn't help all that much. I also use a natural spray to calm the chewing but it needs to be used twice a day and does nothing to prevent her from getting bitten. Neither does the Advantage. I know how toxic spot on treatments are and I hate to use them.
DO NOT USE TOXIC TO CATS This product killed my cat a few hours after applying it DO NOT USE! The ingredient peppermint oil is EXTREMELY harmful to cats look up online.
Ticks Gone No cats hurt We have had two cats for over 15 years and this spring a stray was kind enough to leave us with four kittens under our back porch. When the kittens were about 8 weeks old I brought a few of them inside to see how the older cats would take it. Well we got fleas and in checking the kittens afterward I found that the two longerhaired ones had ticks also. Dealing with 16+ year cats and kittens and having a young child I did not want something poisonous. We got this and I used it on the almost 12 week old kittens and our two older kitties. I will admit that I was very sparing on the inside cats mainly because they aren't used to being restained at all and I was not persistent the kittens I treated as directed. It is three weeks later and the kittens are without ticks and not scratching all the time I see no fleas on them but yesterday I saw a flea on our indoor Tom. So I have reapplied to the indoor cats according to the directions this time and we'll see what happens. Also when I sprayed the areas of the porch frequently used by the kittens and had residue on me from applying it to them I noted amazingly that I did not get bitten by a single mosquito for two nights which never happens when I go outside. My wife noticed that there were fewer bugs in general around the porch and no ants coming inside on the backside of the house. The smell is strong but I like it. The cats mostly did not seem to mind being treated although our Tom sulked for two days last time he seems less affected this time. No kitties seemed distressed or in any way unhealthy three seemed slightly shy of petting for a day.So I think the
Avoid at all costs!! In the hopes of finding a less toxic product one that doesn't use the pyrethrin based pesticides that many of the products do I tried the Sentry Natural Flee and Tick drop. $500 dollar mistake!! Immediately following my application of the product to my cat she became very lethargic. I suspected something to be wrong right away so I attempted to wash off as much of the product as possible obviously not enough. Over the last couple of days she has had a lost of appetite been unable to maintain body temp and has been in a general malaise.Today approximately one week after the treatment she all but collapsed. We rushed her to the pet emergency center. She had sings of abdominal tenderness but in addition she was also very sensitive at base of her tail. The vet as an precautionary measure suggested xrays to rule out any possible trauma and to see if there was any internal bleeding. That all came back clear but during the xray she urinated bloody urine. With the xray showing nothing and bloody urine the Doctor could only speculate that she either had a Urinary Tract Infection or was dealing with acute poisoning. At that point I contacted the manufacturer Sergeant where I was connected with a Veterinary Tech at first and then later a Veterinary Toxicologist. Nothing concrete was said from the distributer but the level of attention I received leads me to believe that I am not the first caller. So now after spending $500 at the vet my cat received a bath in Dawn dishwashing fluid the same soap used to wash oiled wildlife is on a fluid regiment will be recieving antibiotics twice daily at a dose of 125cc of Amoxicillin and is still barely able to stand. It is utterly outrageous and completely inexcusable that a company produce a product which contains a know poison to an animal. When I spoke with the toxicologist at the ASPCA they asked if she has consumed Antifreeze in the same sentence as asking about peppermint oil.

The system was installed at great expense. The birds flutter away every time the audio option comes on but fly right back down once it shuts up. I don't see any discernable results from the ultrasonic component. The product has reduced bird numbers by maybe 15% to 25%. Perhaps over time it will irritate nesting populations enough to drive the majority off but that is yet to be seen. Bottom line this is no quick fix it is noisy and far from fool proof. I think the claims made of this product in its description are exaggerated.

  • This fast acting water based formula actually prevents fleas and ticks from living on your pet, including the deer tick, which may carry Lyme disease
  • It also prevents re-infestation and flea build up for 1 month
  • A fine mist spray which kills fleas and ticks for 7 days

  • Not used as directed I sleep on an air mattress on a hardwood floor coated with polyurethane and after waking up in the mornings with red welts all over my arms and legs I had had it. The only reason I bought this product was because it was the only flea chemical available at my local grocery store and despite not using it as directed this spray has worked excellently for me. I use it to treat the room and not the dog in fact there is no dog just three of my roommate's cats which aren't allowed in my room. First I found a flea and doused it in a rainstorm to see how it would react and the flea sputtered and died within 10 seconds. From there I treated the hot spots where I usually sit or sleep or long periods of time and noticed an immediate improvement. The chemical dried leaving white residue but it came away with a wet paper towel. Before I went to bed I squirted a protective ring around my mattress and even onto the mattress itself. This helped. For awhile I soaked a pair of socks in it and then wore the socks to bed and that managed to keep the fleas away without any noticeable effect on my skin. It's been about two weeks now since I started spraying the floor and my mattress with it and the fleas aren't completely gone yet I expect the eggs will continue to hatch for awhile but I no longer wear the socks and as soon as I see one I spray it. The problem has come under control. My only precaution would be to people in a situation like mine is since the spray is explicitly intended for dogs I would be careful exposing any other animals to the chemical. Also if my hardwood floor weren't coated in polyurethane I would worry about the chemical effects on the wood and I have no idea what it would do to carpeting. But for me great stuff I'll probably go out and buy a refill.
Extremely Wicked Product After having a pet sitter watch my 14 year old Golden Retriever for a week I came home to find her infested with fleas. By the time I realized that these little critters were all over my dog it was too late to bathe her. So I ran to WalMart bought Hartz UltraGuard Plus Flea and Tick Spray Hartz Flea Shampoo with Aloe and Hartz Flea and Tick 3 month drop supply.
Don't Be Fooled! Repellant Only! Does Not Kill Fleas! Even the description for this product states it will keep fleas off your pet not kill them. And that's about all it does and temporarily. I was pleased with the results after first use like eveeybody else. But then became very angry within the next several days.We sprayed the house dogs like the directions said. And noticed that the fleas were just running to parts of the dog we hadn't sprayed or soaked with this product. No probem. Just cover the dogs entire coat and get them all right? Well yes we did that and then noticed the fleas congregating between and around our pets eyes & mouth. And you can't just spray this crap in your dogs mouth or eyes. So we sprayed our fingers and rubbed it on to be safe. Well that seems to do it and we turned the dog loose which was already spitting fire to say the least. All the dogs ran around like wired crazy rolling and jumping from room to room to couch to bed. I bet my dogs could've won the olympics for some of their unholy jumps & leaps. So I considered if the fleas were being killed and irritating my dog in their death dance. I was wrong. The product itself set my dogs skin on fire and the fleas just happened to make a quick exit where my dogs rolled.Oh the fleas left my dog. But they then took up residence in my furniture and my beds. I couldn't sleep after my dog had gotten in to my bed AFTER he was treated. I never had a flea one get in my bed or my couch till I used this product. Then the fleas were back on my dog in 48hrs. Like a dummy I sparayed my dogs again and then all this accomplished was adding more fleas to my bed & couch. This product only chases fleas away temporarily. And it does not kill ticks. I sprayed one directly that was on one of our yard dogs and it only made it wiggle & squirm some. 4 minutes later no change and it was still alive. The only thing that killed it was my cigarette lighter.

  • Leaking bottle Bottle arrived leaking over half empty. Contacted seller who balked at giving any help. Finally had to file AZ claim. Then seller refused to refund or replace unless I ended the claim first. Ace Hardware is not to be trusted. Still have not received refund or replacement although was promised refund. Was told this product no longer available. Don't waste your money with this seller.
Absolute BEST insecticide I have been using this product for over 13 years. I do not have dogs or cats but I had a terrible problem with what people call 'noseeums' tiny insects that bite and you can't see them. When I lived in a remote town in the desert after a heavy rainfall each time I walked outside I was 'attacked' by something biting me around the ankles. It drove me crazy with pain. I tried several products but had to be very careful what I used because I rehabbed birds and tortoises.I finally bought this flea spray as a last resort and it turned out to be the absolute best product I ever could have found NO EXAGGERATION!It proved to be safe around my birds and tortoises DO NOT SPRAY DIRECTLY ON THE ANIMAL OR NEAR THE ANIMAL! I also got some itching on my face from the country critters mites.

  • A full month of tick-killing efficiently.
  • Ticks will detach from an infested dog
  • Still has the Flea protection you have come to expect from Frontline Plus
  • Ticks start to die within 6 hours of application
  • FOR DOGS ONLY

  • Will never use again Our vet pushed us to use Certifect the dose appropriate for our 8year old chocolate lab and she had a very strong negative reaction. She was lethargic listless her nose was hot and dry she trembled for a day and would not eat nor drink. Enough of that! I'm going back to Frontline Plus and a Preventic Flea Collar like we used for the last couple of years. Apparently some dogs are okay with this but our sweet girl is not.
Works well Put on our 24 pound boston terrier in New England in a very wet April/May. Not one flea to be found on him so far. I will be purchasing again.
certifect flea drops It did not work on my dog. Selling was very fast sending it and I appreciate it but the product did not work for my dog.
Certifect for dogs Easily applied works well low scent. Began working right away and I was amazed at how well it has worked.
