Great stuff Bought Frontline the first time around and noticed the pups were still scratching next time we used Advantix and the scratching has stopped.
Great price This was the cheapest place I could find Advantix II online. Item was wrapped in a water proof envelope packaged well and came before the date it had orginally given me. Will buy from this vendor again.
LOVE this product! We have been using Advantix III for 2 years now and it is the best tick product that we have used to date. Ticks started early this year. By the beginning of May our mini schnauzer all ready had 3 ticks on him in a matter of a week and a half. We immediately bought the Advantix great price on Amazon and he hasn't had a tick since then.
Doesn't work This is the second time I've tried Advantix. The first time was two years ago it didn't work then but I decided to give it another shot. It's been four months now and while my dogs do not have fleas that's never been an issue they most certainly have ticks. I'm picking 56 off each dog daily.If you're looking for a flea product this will work. If you're looking for a tick product look elsewhere. PS Frontline hasn't worked either.
perfect pets Advantage by Bayer works great!We have 3 schnauzers in the house. We've used Advantage for several years. Frontline tends to make one dog sickupset stomach.We recomend Advantageespecialy for small or minature type dogs.
Product great but it was already open The product was exactly was described but when I opened the package the plastic bag containing the drops was already opened..
Never Again I have always used the regular advantage and advantage II on my dogs and cats with no problems whatsoeverHowever I didn't do my research on the Advantix and both my dogs are currently experiencing problems after the original application..I have a maltese and a poodle mixI used advantage on them both with no problems at all last summerWith the advantix which I applied 3 days ago they haven't stopped itching and my maltese woke up and vomited in the night after I applied it..They didn't have fleas in the first place I mainly got it to deal with ticks which they were picking up on our walks every day..I gave them both bath with dawn dish soap to try and remove the avantix and they are both taking benadrylMy maltese is having to wear a cone after applying this to keep from chewing his hindquarters raw..I guess the permethrin is what is causing them the problems..I know this works for a lot of dogs but watch out especially on the smaller breeds I wish I had been more careful..
Better than Frontline on my Shih Tzu mixes I was previously using Fontline on my dogs and had constant flea problems. I was wary of K9 Advantix II because of some of the reviews I read on here of adverse reactions. I tried K9 Advantix II anyways because the Frontline Plus was not cutting it. And lo and behold no adverse side effects and no fleas! Finally my poor little dogs are completely flea free! I highly recommend K9 Advantix II.
Dog is Like a Clock We've been using this product for several years on our dogs because Mrs. Spudman is sold on the product claims. Even though we aren't getting the promised results she's still loyal to the brand. I continue to try persuading her otherwise.How does it work? Our two small dogs are a shih tzu and a Bolognese. I will say that I've never seen a flea on either dog and we haven't had any flea infestations in our house. My daily vacuuming regimen may help contribute to our lack of fleas.Ticks are another matter. Last night we pulled five ticks off of Piper the shih tzu. Most days we take off at least one or two. Their available piece of yard is large but fenced off from the wooded half of Spud Acres. The ticks are strongly embedded in Piper and difficult to pull off. Occasionally the ticks we don't find end up on me.
Love this product! I have used it on my dog since i got him as a puppy! I work at a pet store myself and have heard so many horror stories about fleas and tape worms.
