Adams Plus Flea Tick Mist Better than frontline

  • Also kills flea eggs and larvae for 3 months
  • Use on dogs cats pet bedding carpet and furniture
  • Kills and repels fleas ticks and mosquitoes

  • This stuff kills Bedbugs too! Kills bedbugs almost instantlyeven though they are not listed on its label. Where Pronto and Hot Shot failed for me Adams flea and tick spray worked! Highly recommended. Get the kind that says Safe for dogs and cats instead of Safe for dogs cats kittens and puppies because1. The dog/cat spray has an added ingredient which lingers and kills the eggs while keeping the young from maturing sexually.2. The dogs cats kittens and puppies version has an overwhelming perfumey smell.
Really worked Used the drops for months. Wound up with a Flea Problem. Purchased almost every type of Flea product also bombed and baths. This product proved to be the best now Toby Bear and Beatrice are Flea Free and so is my home. Moral don't be trusting of Products. Always check the pet with a flea comb no matter what product or groomer you use.
ADAMS FLEAS AND TICK SPRAY DOES NOT WORK THIS over priced flea spray doesn't work any better then the much hated flea powder. it only costs about 10 times more money. I've put this stuff on my dogs and cats and they are still covered with the flea's and they are indoor pets. I wrote to the Adams company to complain and they sent me a big long letter saying how I needed to buy these other Adams products to do the job right = and make them a bit richer!!!Dont waste your money. Go get s bottle of cheep shampoo and give your pet a bath and let the soap soak on then for about 10 minutes and the flea's will suffacatem in the soap. I have used Dawn till I ran out of the small amount I had then used some left over Suave shampoo then I used my Panteene when I ran out of that. They all worked fine and I could have saved myself the money if I had tried the advice on shampoo's first off.
fleas be gone! I have not used a flea spray in a long time because I use Frontline Plus on all my dogs. But Frontline doesn't seem to be doing the job lately. I spray the dogs mid month. I used to use Adams because it had a pleasant smell. The have changed the formula and this does not smell so pleasant but it does kill the fleas and that's what it is suppose to do.
Not really as advertised. This is in no way a subsitute for Frontline or the other expensive monthly flea treatments. I find it works when the spray directly hits a flea. That is it.When I had an infestation on the pit bull it worked well due to his short coat but I tried to use it on the cat not only did she HATE that I was spraying something on her it didn't seem to penetrate her coat so the fleas were not effected. In no way do I believe the claim that it repels fleas. Thats BS.
Scary side effects I used this product per the directions on my 14lb tabby and he had a terrible reaction to it. 15 minutes after applying it I came upstairs to find him drooling on my keyboard and looking disoriented. I immediately bathed him however the symptoms persisted. The next morning he was switching between slightly dragging his hind legs and walking as if there were tape stuck to them. After a few days he seemed to recover however I would never recommend Adams Plus Flea & Tick Mist With Insect Growth Regulator to anyone with a cat. This product with certainly kill the fleas but it might kill your cat in the process. I threw my bottle in the garbage where it belonged and have had significantly better results with Bayer Advantage II for Cats.
THE WORST FLEA AND TICK PRODUCT ON THE MARKET I used this product for the first time three weeks ago. I followed instructions on the bottle. Now for the past three weeks my two dogs and I have not been able to get the burning and itching to stop on our skin. I have washed nearly everything in my home removed rugs entirely and have not been able to remove this toxic chemical from our furniture and the rest of our home.We can no longer sit on our sectional sofa. I have it covered with sheets and blankets to protect our skin but for now we can no longer enjoy our living room area. I have spoken with the manufacturer. They did a report for the EPA and had me speak to Health and Safety but this seemed to be more of a CYA action than anything else. So far no one has called me to tell me how to effectively remove this from my living room furniture so that we can use that room again. The expense that I have gone through having laundry and bedding washed and rewashed having professional cleaning people do an redo laundry to ensure the chemicals have been removed and removing costly Asian rugs from the various rooms in my home and placing them in the garage until we can determine if we need to dispose of them We are experiencing repeated exposure to this chemical because we cannot get rid of it!My recommendation Buy a different product! Avoid the disruption this may cause to you and your fellow loved ones.
Better than frontline I tried frontline on my cat and it didnt work at all i was mad. Than i tried adams spray and it works and its much cheaper than frontline.. Those that claim that there pets got bad side effects or it didnt work well first of all read directions it says specifically not to spray directly on your pet unless ofcourse its ment for that Which the spray isnt. Its for carpet use and pet beds. After spraying you have to stay away for an hour before you walk in the room or area you sprayed in. Dont forget dont leave it all just to the product and vaccum aswell specially the areas your pets spend time the most.
great value The price for the size makes it a great value. This doesn't smell as good as the regular Adams. It must be the IGR. But it works every bit as well.
Dangerous ! Don't use for cats! I follow the instructions and spray at my cat but after 10 min the cat leak himself and start having a weird foam looking saliva. I got so scared!I went to the emergency hospital so concerned that I didn't locked my house or wore a braThe vet told me that the Pyrethrins 0.180% the spray contain is very dangerous. My cat feeling better now but don't take the risk and try it on your cat.

  • This item is not for sale in Catalina Island

  • it works Remember with fleas you must use flea spray to interrupt their breeding cycle. My cat took off again male kitty about a month back but I'm still dealing with a few fleas. Will keep spraying once a week till I see no more for sure! Belive me you do not want a full blown flea infestation. You'll be spraying your home three times a day if that happens in order to just get a handle on them.
Kills fleas dead fast Have used this before always hard to find. So I'm very glad to be able to order from Amazon for a great price. This has been very effective at killing fleas immediately in the yard and house only need a light dusting. When my present order arrives we'll give our hound one light dusting then just keep the yard and house maintained every 23 weeks. Never seen any ill effects or reactions. Cheaper and more importantly more effective than the high cost Advantix.
Best Flea Product! We were plagued with fleas last year in the Spring we purchased a product from Home Depot and sprayed outside around the house. We purchased a natural product from the Pet store to bathe the cat it made her very sick and we had to bring her to the hospital. We found this product on Amazon and tried it we sprayed around the house and left the house for a few hours. After using the spray and the Raid flea bombs we finally got rid of the fleas. It is also a good idea to buy something for the cat to prevent getting the fleas in the first place. Our Vet recommend Front line.I would purchase this item again and Amazon had a really good price and quick shipping. I also would like to mention that it is hard to find this product in the store and if you do it is very expensive. I would purchase this product from Amazon again.
Raid Flea Killer kills fleas but not flea eggs Summary Kills adult fleas effectively can runs out pretty quickly next time I'll buy Raid Flea Carpet and Room Spray.Review I had ordered this product thinking it was the Raid Flea Carpet and Room Spray which is in very similar packaging. The difference is that the Carpet and Room spray contains methoprene which kills flea eggs before they hatch. My mistake but I decided to use this Flea Killer anyway. The nozzle is on the side of the can rather than on top of the can and then you pointing down to your carpet. It's a little bit more difficult to apply to the carpet for this reason. If you aim down this can sometimes the product doesn't want to come out as much because the can is on it's side. It also says you can spray your dogs with this stuff but I did not want to try that.It seems to work for it's intended purpose. I've been vigilant in vacuuming and also using the Victor Flea Trap so I haven't seen anymore fleas. A can doesn't last very long though you use it up pretty quickly if you're treating both carpet and upholstery. I used 3 cans to treat 3 bedrooms carpeting on the stairs and the couch. In all I say this is a good product but the better product for treating your house is the Raid Flea Killer Carpet and Room Spray.

  • quick frontline delivery Have used Frontline for years in my multiple cat household.
It worked! Was very pleased that we found a product that actually worked! It did take a few days a week? before the cats seemed to be flea free but considering that other products didn't work at all this was a grand improvement. The cats also seemed to not be as upset by this product as they were w/ others. We did have one cat our outdoor kitty that did lose some fur at the spot of aplication just be aware that it might happen in case you have a show cat but the fur grew back in less than a week and she was fine.
Frontline Plus for Cats purchased online from www.amzon.com
Worked less than 2 weeks It seemed to kill the flees at first but within 2 weeks they were back.
Great Product This is a great product. Easy to useonce you get it out of the package which is not easy. I tried a bargain brand on sale at a larger retailer that claimed the same amount of the same ingredient but could see no results whatsoever.
Works Great I have 5 Cats We don't have Frontline in Canada that I know of and 2 of my cats came home with ticks on them. I talk to some ladies in the USA and they told me about Frontline so I ordered a 12 pack because I have 5 cats Great price. Thanks for the quick delivery.
Keeps the fleas away! We have used Frontline for our 2 cats for years. Tried drugstore flea remedies none worked. Frontline keeps the fleas away even through the summer.Have bought by price through eBay before but found out there are fake Frontline products. This one is real packaged by Merial the manufacturer of Frontline. Price is good and I bought a 12pack enough for 6 months for 2 cats.
Frontline The ticks still hitchhike on the animals and jump off in the house . Gets the fleas real good though .
Great for cats and people too! No more fleas on the cats is a victory for the cats we had one cat who was intensely allergic to flea saliva and kept scratching all the time. Frontline took care of that problem. And no more fleas in the house is a victory for humans as well! Also cutting down on the chances for Lyme disease is worth a lot.
Frontline Plus Seems like the fleas around here Houston TX are resistant to Frontline. My cats had less fleas but not completely fleafree. That lasted about two weeks. When we lived elsewhere the same product worked the full month with complete success.

  • Fantastic! Mycodex Plus Environmental Control Aerosol Household Spray is amazing. The basement was full of fleas this year. One can sprayed onto the basement floor took care of the problem. Other products have been tried as well as flea bombs having been set off. Nothing else seemed to work. This stuff is A Plus. Would definitely use again if ever there was a need.
Best Flea Control Ever You can purchase this online at a very resonable price. It is VERY effective against fleas in the home. I generally use it once a year in the Spring and have NEVER had fleas in my home. Minimal odor and safe on all fabrics I have sprayed it on.
Mycodex Plus Enviromental Household Spray My daughter has moved into an older home that is a rental. She and her roommate have 2 dogs. This spring has been unusually warm and it appears that the dogs may have fleas. After vaccuuming applying flea protection to the dogs and spraying the carpet and furniture with Mycodex the fleas seem to be gone. One can did cover the square footage that was listed on the can.
Dud product This also isn't worth the money they want for it.
Cat won't go near.. I used the Mycodex Plus on furniture and baseboards for a dog and cat flea infestation. One of the items I sprayed was a 6 foot tall cat tower with 5 perches. The cat won't go on it now. I have tried catnip to entice her but she still won't have anything to do with it. I would like any suggestions that anyone might have. It is a rather expensive piece of useless furniture now..
Mycodex Plus Environmental Control Aerosol Household Spray Very effective at getting rid of indoor flea problem moderate severity in the Midwest. Light smell less intense & less chemically smell than Raid Flea Killer Plus Room & Carpet Spray. Do not yet know how well this product works on eliminating fleas long term as it's only been a couple of weeks. Dog had no problem using his dog bed after his bed was sprayed & aired. If you need a fine mist & are covering a small area e.g. just pet bed/furniture this spray nozzle could be better Raid Flea Killer Plus nozzle allows for more even mist as per instructions. The sprayer of my first can was defective squirting splatters/gobs of foam randomly rather than a mist e.g. splattering foam gobs onto the walls 10 inches away rather than the carpet even while can was pointed down at the ground. Had to get a 2nd can the seller sent new can right away at no charge. I prefer the flea spray for covering carpets rooms & pet furniture to the flea powder/granules as some people experience breathing issues from the fine airborne particles of the powder/granules long after vacuuming.
Didnt Work Here it is 2 months later and I still got fleas hopping around my place.nothing seems to be really workingI used this first so I wouldn't have to bomb the joint but I ended up still having to bomb the place..I've bought/used everything I could think ofand they just won't dieI'm ready to call in the air force to drop a real bomb on the joint.

  • Great stuff Bought Frontline the first time around and noticed the pups were still scratching next time we used Advantix and the scratching has stopped.
Great price This was the cheapest place I could find Advantix II online. Item was wrapped in a water proof envelope packaged well and came before the date it had orginally given me. Will buy from this vendor again.
LOVE this product! We have been using Advantix III for 2 years now and it is the best tick product that we have used to date. Ticks started early this year. By the beginning of May our mini schnauzer all ready had 3 ticks on him in a matter of a week and a half. We immediately bought the Advantix great price on Amazon and he hasn't had a tick since then.
Doesn't work This is the second time I've tried Advantix. The first time was two years ago it didn't work then but I decided to give it another shot. It's been four months now and while my dogs do not have fleas that's never been an issue they most certainly have ticks. I'm picking 56 off each dog daily. If you're looking for a flea product this will work. If you're looking for a tick product look elsewhere. PS Frontline hasn't worked either.
perfect pets Advantage by Bayer works great! We have 3 schnauzers in the house. We've used Advantage for several years. Frontline tends to make one dog sickupset stomach. We recomend Advantageespecialy for small or minature type dogs.
Product great but it was already open The product was exactly was described but when I opened the package the plastic bag containing the drops was already opened..
Never Again I have always used the regular advantage and advantage II on my dogs and cats with no problems whatsoeverHowever I didn't do my research on the Advantix and both my dogs are currently experiencing problems after the original application..I have a maltese and a poodle mixI used advantage on them both with no problems at all last summerWith the advantix which I applied 3 days ago they haven't stopped itching and my maltese woke up and vomited in the night after I applied it..They didn't have fleas in the first place I mainly got it to deal with ticks which they were picking up on our walks every day..I gave them both bath with dawn dish soap to try and remove the avantix and they are both taking benadrylMy maltese is having to wear a cone after applying this to keep from chewing his hindquarters raw..I guess the permethrin is what is causing them the problems..I know this works for a lot of dogs but watch out especially on the smaller breeds I wish I had been more careful..
Better than Frontline on my Shih Tzu mixes I was previously using Fontline on my dogs and had constant flea problems. I was wary of K9 Advantix II because of some of the reviews I read on here of adverse reactions. I tried K9 Advantix II anyways because the Frontline Plus was not cutting it. And lo and behold no adverse side effects and no fleas! Finally my poor little dogs are completely flea free! I highly recommend K9 Advantix II.
Dog is Like a Clock We've been using this product for several years on our dogs because Mrs. Spudman is sold on the product claims. Even though we aren't getting the promised results she's still loyal to the brand. I continue to try persuading her otherwise. How does it work? Our two small dogs are a shih tzu and a Bolognese. I will say that I've never seen a flea on either dog and we haven't had any flea infestations in our house. My daily vacuuming regimen may help contribute to our lack of fleas.Ticks are another matter. Last night we pulled five ticks off of Piper the shih tzu. Most days we take off at least one or two. Their available piece of yard is large but fenced off from the wooded half of Spud Acres. The ticks are strongly embedded in Piper and difficult to pull off. Occasionally the ticks we don't find end up on me.
Love this product! I have used it on my dog since i got him as a puppy! I work at a pet store myself and have heard so many horror stories about fleas and tape worms.

  • Use on carpets, drapes, rugs, upholstered furniture and pet bedding
  • Kills ticks, roaches, ants, spiders, lice, crickets, centipedes, waterbugs, silverfish and sowbugs

  • save your pet DONT BUY Adams products are outlawed in California because of lawsuits. The company kept getting sued over dead pets so they just changed the formula. The processes would just repeate its self. I found this out from a women at Petsmart after looking for something better I had my cat with me in his carrier because we just visited the banfield clinic because he got sick from the Adam's spray and flea bomb She told me her cat had liver failure from it and about California's trouble. Do your pet a favor and don't buy it.
Works What can I say? Stuff works as advertised.
Waste of time money and energy I live in a tiny basement apartment the hot humid conditions of the summer combined with pets and a vacation caused this terrible problem to occur in the first place. I went out and bought two packs of foggers flea carpet powder which claims to kill all four stages of fleas and carpet spray all by this company. I read all of the reviews and decided to take the chance because some of the reviews were good and I desperately needed the help. I vaccumed the entire apartment I put the powder down I sprayed every single thing I could. I set off the foggers. I returned the next morning. Initially I thought. Wow this worked great! I saw not a single flea! Awesome! Then. Two days later. After being away for two days for the weekend I return and am COVERED IN FLEAS upon entering. Sigh. So tonight I am doing the entire process again and hoping against hope that a second dose of this inferior product will do the job since I can't afford an exterminator. BUT if you can afford an exterminator I reccomend you bypass the disappointment of this product.
got rid of my flee problem on the first try had fleas in my apartment i was getting bitten every night for a week managed to kill a couple with my hands but problem persisted this solved the problem. just sprayed it on the carpet all over the place and then vacuumed. havent had a flea bite since. fleas and ants seem to die on contact and it doesnt stink like other sprays do. i can spray it on my carpet vacuum and the room is nice n fresh. no nasty fumes i can smell. spiders seem to be tougher to take down but they die. just not as quickly. good stuff good price.

  • Didn't work on my FL chihuahua I have a chihuahua and live out the country in Florida. He got relief for maybe a day or two then they were back all over him. I find the oral flea meds work better for him.
Advantage II Product is great. Nothing else seemed to get rid of the fleas on my long haired small dog. This took care of his problems almost immediately. I have seen no adverse effects only positive things to say about Advantage II. Also the price was great received a six month supply for only a few bucks more than the price I have seen the three to four month supply advertised in local pet supply stores.
Once a month winner We have three dogs all inside pets two Chihuahuas and one Jack Russell and the fleas were absolutely horrible this year. Our dogs spent an enormous amount of time chewing on themselves so we read the reviews and decided to give it a try. It works! After the first dose we noted that 3 weeks later it needed to be reapplied but now the fleas are under control and it looks like once a month will be the winning ticket.
Love the product The flea medication came in good time and took care of my dog's fleas within 12 hours. I'm very satisfied with this product and would also recommend it to others.
Very happy!! I have never been a big fan of the pricetags on some of these flea medications but I am so glad I looked into Advantage II! This was a firsttime purchase on Amazon and it was such a simple easy experience. Shipping was fast no problems with the expiration dates. I wasn't sure what to expect but all of the reviews REALLY helped in my decision. We had a minor flea issue after moving and I thought I'd give this a shot. We gave our Miniature Pinscher a Capstar pill and applied this after 4 or 5 hours. Haven't seen her scratch since! I am thrilled to see she has relief from fleas and to have found something that works wonders.
