Certifect Dogs 45 88 month supply The only product that has worked on our GSD in Florida

  • Still has the Flea protection you have come to expect from Frontline Plus
  • FOR DOGS ONLY
  • Ticks start to die within 6 hours of application
  • A full month of tick-killing efficiently.
  • Ticks will detach from an infested dog

  • Nauseous Strong Smell We stopped using Frontline on this particular dog two years ago since it did not work for her It did on the other dog.We switched to Comfortis worked for her made other dog sick. However lately we've noticed more ticks than usual still not a lot but concerning so when I went to the vets yesterday we purchased this product Certifect. We put it on last night roughly 6 p.m. Awful AWFUL SMELL! Like an industrial cleaner gone horribly wrong.Today you can still smell it strongly over 17 hours later. It is on the carpet the top of my bedthe dog that usually plays with my daughter stopped playing completely. Not sure what is going on but between the dog's lethargic and seemingly depressed state and the smell permeating through out the house something is not right. I would NOT suggest anyone purchase this product.Calling the product line number I got a person at the other end of the line that was very VERY ill prepared to answer questions or offer any suggestions or thoughts. I have the distinct feeling this is not due to the poor person having to answer the line but the lack of preparedness or care on the company's end.All I was told was that the company would note the lot number for their recordsWHAT?! How does that help our dog right now? Our household concerns regarding safety? Oh were told that it usually takes at least 24 hours for the smell on the dog to dissipate.Would not encourage anyone to purchase this product.UPDATE Dog had diarrhea for three days and very lethargic. Had to boil carrots rice and chicken to feed until her stool finally firmed up a bit. Never again. Also live in SW Florida where it is hard to fight fleas this is not worth it and again it didn't even work.
The only product that has worked on our GSD in Florida We have tried everything this Winter in Florida all products which worked before did not work on the 'C' little ticks. Our Kennel Owner told us about Certifect. We bought it finally got rid of the ticks and no odor.Great product we are ordering another 3 mos supply.
Miserable dog strong odor I purchased this item today from the vet since my dog has been getting Tics and frontline does not appear to be working. I put it on as directed and it has left a strong odor. I put it on my dog 3 hours ago and the toxic smell has permeated my entire house. My dog is usually happy energetic wags tail playful etc. Since I put it on he has followed me around the house only sleeping. The box says a side effect can be lethargic. this product has encouraged me to finally seek natural products i buy organic non pesticide products for myself why not for my dog. I would not recommend this product.

Hartz Ultraguard Plus Flea Collar Doesn't Work as Advertised

Hartz Ultraguard Plus Flea &Tick Dog Collar
Hartz Ultraguard Plus Flea &Tick Dog Collar Read more...

  • Getting wet will not affect control
  • Last for 7 months
  • May be cut to size
  • Kill fleas, flea eggs and ticks
  • Use on puppy's 6 weeks of age or older

  • Doesn't Work as Advertised Our little rat terrier attracts fleas like a comic book convention attracts costumed attendees. We've tried several different flea collars including the HARTZ ULTRA GUARD FLEA AND TICK COLLAR. The box says that this collar is supposed to offer 7months of protection. It's supposed to kill fleas and ticks and prevent the hatching of flea eggs. The collar does seem to work but it only lasts for about 23 months. After that time our little dog is once again scratching and biting. Until recently I was unaware of the multiple lawsuits against the Hartz company. Personally we've never had an issue with Hartz products but after reading about the lawsuits it is something one should be aware. Overall though the HARTZ ULTRA GUARD FLEA AND TICK COLLAR works it doesn't work for as long as it says it does. I recommend using a flea and tick collar from a different company.
If you love your pet don't buy Hartz products!!!!! Two days ago I purchased six flea collars for my cats ranging in age from 152 years. All were perfectly healthy up to date on their shots had terrific appetites and no problem using the litter box. Tonight I have six very sick catsthe oldest worse than the others. They are lethargic throwing up their eyes are matted and they are not using the litter. They are on expensive urinary health dry food and are indoor cats. They ONLY new thing in their life has been the damned flea collars. Tomorrow I will be taking all six to the vet. DON'T USE HARTZ PRODUCTS!!!! I wish I had gone on the web to read what other pet owners had to say about this company before making my cats ill with this defective product.
Is there an option for zero stars? I have NEVER bought a Hartz product that worked period. STAY AWAY from anything they make. You'll have to be careful as they like to put out products under different brand names but if you look carefully you'll eventually find the Hartz name or logo. Money in the trash. You're better off with Sergeant products. You might have to pay a little more for some of their stuff but you get what you pay for. Sergeant's stuff works.
Completely Effective! I have purchased this product several times over the past years and have found it completely effective in preventing flea and tick infestations on my dog. One has to remember to stretch the product to break the seal before putting it on the animal as there is a thin waxlike seal/coating on the boxed product which preserves the effectiveness of the product until use.
Works better than drops I used to use those drops for my dogs for fleas and ticks but after using a very expensive brand of flea drops and still getting a full flea infestation which required fumigation I switched to flea collars upon a friend's advice. I will never go back to the drops pills or anything but flea collars.
Works but.. I used Hartz UltraGuard OneSpot on my cat and it did get rid of the fleas but it left his hair a matted greasy mess. Three weeks later it's still that way. I've even washed the hair on his neck but it's impossible to remove the grime. Unfortunately he's a longhaired white cat and it looks terrible. I'm going back to alternating Frontline and Advantage.
Not worth it I was using Frontline on my Beagles and Chihuahua for years it worked great but its a bit pricey times three so I looked for some possible treatment solutions between the spot ons. This product and the Hartz flea spray I purchased along side it did not work at all. My dogs went from totally flea free to itching after their walks. Then the cat who wasn't on a flea specific treatment as she never goes outside and the dogs had previously never brought anything in started itching too.I immediately went back to using Frontline on the dogs and now Revolution on the cat.I also recently discovered the multitudes of lawsuits and websites against Hartz.
Victims due to this product Go to Hartzvictims.OrgI am not a crusading nut my cat got poisoned by this stuff. I applied it correctly. Within an hour she had seizures and tremors. 4 days of an uphill battle for her. She is now fine but please don't harm your animals using this stuff. Same with BIOSPOT or Sargents.

Novartis Capstar Flea Treatment Blue WORKS WELL

Novartis Capstar Flea Treatment Blue Tabs for Dogs and Cats
Novartis Capstar Flea Treatment Blue Tabs for Dogs and Cats Read more...

  • Should be given orally no more often than once per day
  • Please read all label information on delivery
  • For cats and dogs 2 to 25 pounds
  • Oral tablet for controlling adult fleas in cats and dogs
  • Active ingredient is Nitenpyram, which interferes with normal nerve transmission and kills fleas

  • Capstar Flea pills I was very happy with Novartis Flea Treatment. I plan to purchase more in the future.I used it both on our cats and dogs.
I can see those tiny suckers falling off. And that is all I need to know. We rescued a stray dog gave him a Capstar to kill the fleas he was sure to have and well enough they started dropping right after the magic dog scratching madly 30 minutes postCapstar started working. So now I have a flealess freshly vaccinated exstray dog and I'm good to use my top spot of choice.
    excellent
It worked I like that the pills are small making it easier to hide. One dose each worked for my mini doxies. My apartment is hard wood floors but hallway is carpet and outdoors not treated. I am glad they do not itch as much when they walk in now.
Worked WONDERS! I always wondered if there was a flea pill floating around so glad I found Capstar! Gave one to each of our two cats and Miniature Pinscher. They went crazy scratching for about 3045 minutes. I combed through them and found a few dead fleas on each and gave the Miniature Pinscher a bath. After 4 or 5 hours I applied Advantage II also bought from Amazon to all three and have not had problems since! I love this one because it is for both cats and dogs. Saved me a lot of $$ considering Petco was selling them individually for cats and dogs MUCH more for less pills.
Capstar available the way I like it I love that this product is available like this. I recently went to my local store that sold me one at a time and was capitalizing on the price. Now I can save some money and have the product on hand for my best friend.
safe reliable flea control option easy to give in food. safer than other products my neighbor who is a vet tech recommended Capstar years ago and we've been using it on our 7 cats ever since.
WORKS WELL This product is perfect for my cat and small dog. I just stick it in a small piece of cheese and they eat it right up. They itch like crazy for the first hour when the pill first begins to take effect and soon after I start noticing disoriented fleas around their bedding. Also best if used with a flea trap so the trap can catch any hatchedlarvae fleas around the house after they're removed from the animal. When used 12 times a week with a flea trap this product works wonderfully and seems to be a cheaper and safer alternative to other flea products.
Well worth the price! We have been using this occasionally since we moved into a very dogfriendly neighborhood. We usually give it to our dog about half an hour before we go out for a walk or to the park. As described in the directions the fleas have a very aggressive reaction to the capstar pill and will bite down harder before jumping off. Our dog will show signs of this by scratching a lot more. By taking her out for a walk or letting her run in the park the idea is that she'll be too distracted with playing to notice the discomfort. Also we hope that the fleas jump off somewhere outside rather than in our home Once we get home a few hours later we give her a nice bath to finish off the stragglers. We are a bit concerned about possible health effects so we only use a pill when the fleas get really out of control so far it has been about every two months. So far she still has a clean bill of health. Instant relief for our fourlegged pal.
READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY Please read instructions carefully before use. Capstar works great in killing adult fleas only. To kill the complete cycle of fleas from eggs larvae to adult this product is to be used in combination with PROGRAM also by Novartis. PROGRAM contains lufenuron and controls population of flea eggs while CAPSTAR contains nitenpyram and used to kill adult fleas only. And then CAPSTAR is to be administered once a week in combination with PROGRAM administered once a month. There are other brands of flea medication that kills the entire cycle by administering only one pill once a month. Should ask your Veterinarian or search around.

  • 100% knockdown of adult fleas in 10 minutes

  • New technology!
  • Kills adult fleas for up to 14 days

  • Great item! Siphotrol Plus is amazing! It killed the fleas and eggs within minutes of spraying. The smell is not too overpowering and leaves soon after spraying. I highly recommend this product.
Siphotrol Plus II Premise Spray We had fleas in the basement and bought this because some of the reviews were good. It did not work.
WOW I keep an extremely clean house so you can imagine my horror when I found out I had fleas.I was told about this product did my research and then purchased it.All I can say is WOW. Within 24 hours we had no fleas.I would recommend this product to anyone who is serious about getting rid of those pesky little hoppers.
Siphotrol Plus II Premise Spray I use this every year starting the end of July through Sept. to kill fleas in the carpets and on furniture and all areas where the animals lay. Coupled with frontline we keep the fleas out of the house and off the animals! Living in an area that produces an abundance of fleas every year it is not something I can be without.
Works as advertised This stuff works better than anything you'll find at the big box stores and unlike with foggers it goes where you want it and not on surfaces were it doesn't need to be. If you have an infestation though it will not work by itself no product will. You have to treat your pets with advantage or a similar product and then thoroughly clean all of your carpets bedding upholstered furniture drapes etc. before spraying this product. After spraying you have to continue to vacuum the entire house thoroughly at least every other day for a week or two to break the life cycle. This is the same product that pest control companies use and they will ask that you do all of the cleaning mentioned above before they'll treat your house. You may as well save some money and do it yourself.
Best nontoxic premise spray! Been using it for about 5 years. Its nonToxic and so powerful than will not only kill fleas but roaches!!! The killing effects can easily last 6 months if u don't mop the treated area/flooring it's wonderful.
Save your money this stuff just does not work at all. I used this spray repeatedly over several weeks and it did not reduce the flea population at all. I sprayed the room I was having trouble in and put a couple of flea traps out. I continued to catch fleas and get bites every day even after reapplying. Total wast of money.
Wow! Fantastic Product! We moved into a new house where the previous owners had had a dog. The carpets were cleaned with a rug doctor. About a week after moving in we noticed lots of small red itchy marks all over our ankles. I soon discovered when standing in one spot on the carpets little black dots quickly appearing all over my legs. Captured a few in soapy water and sure enough they were fleas. We vacuumed the carpets almost every day and I bombed the living room and porch where the dog had it's bed previously and it made no difference. We then tried diatomaceous earth and it still made no difference although it did make a hell of a mess with powder all over everything. Then I got this stuff. It works almost like a fogger but you control it. It makes a low cloud that covers everything and will even get under furniture pretty easily. We have probably about 800 square feet of carpet and it used most of the container.
beats the little buggers My vet introduced us to this product 15 years ago and I wouldn't think to use anything else.We are a two pet home and since moving to the south we've really had to fight the fleas the past couple of years. Sadly no vet in my area carries the product. Even my own vet said that they used to carry it and can't remember why they stopped?!?I've used frontline on the girls but also have used the spray bottle the flea spray on the pets and now the foggers the house is just too large to handle with the spot spray.I've never found anything that works better.
So Far So Good My mom's house was infested with fleas. For some reason after she had given the dog away the fleas got much worse. On several occasions we had used flea foggers available at the local big box stores. The infestation continued unabated. We made a final assault using Siphotol fogger and the Siphotol proximity spray. We followed eradication advice we found online. We vacuumed every day for a week and got rid of all the rugs. For some reason even though she had walltowall carpet mom liked throw rugs. With all the rugs gone we removed the couch cushions and proximity sprayed in corners under furniture and under the cushions then we used three foggers to bug bomb. Each fogger is supposed to be good for 4000 square feet but for her layout three foggers were used for full coverage. We turned off the natural gas to the hot water heater shut off the breakers to the house then started the three foggers. We left for 4 hours before going in the house and opening windows. The smell was not strong or foul. She slept at home that night. No fleas have been seen since. It has been a month since our assault and fleas can be persistent but we are hopeful. Siphotrol seems to be much stronger and effective than anything we could buy locally. I'm holding back one star because it is still a little early to be sure we have solved the problem.
