Sound great Will never buy again I loved the idea of a Natural and inexpensive flea care product.BUTit chemicalburned one pet made another itch for a week and has an unusual odor which lasts for weeks.Going back to Fiprogaurd or PetArmor.
Did not work.. I did not mind the smell like other said they were bothered by..however it did not work. Put it on my Saint Bernards and in 2 days they still had ticks.and in a week they still had ticks.simply did not work.I choose natural over chemical products most of the time but in this case I will go back to the chemicals..
Pleasant smell but discolors white fur Product seems effective though I live in NY where we don't have as much exposure to ticks. I wanted something as a less harsh alternative to pesticides like Frontline and more as a repellant in case we encountered any critters. My shih tzu mix tolerated the formula well. I actually like the smell though it was strong the first few days. However the main reason I would hesitate using this again is it badly stained the white fur on his neck. One week later and after several bath wipes it is still discolored. I didn't want to bathe him right away to allow more time for effectiveness. Next time I will apply it more to his head and back but the instructions say to put it on the neck. The staining was quite yellow and unattractive though.
So far so good! I used this product on both our dogs an Elkhound and an Aussie and it has almost been a month since treatment. So far no fleas no ticks no skin irritation. The first couple of days the smell is pretty strong but after the 3rd day it is fine. I recommend that you apply it outside and then let the dog play outside for a while or take him or her for a walk. At this stage I would recommend this product.
We don't mind the smell We don't mind the smell at all. I like the reviewer who said that their dog was like a walking air freshener cause that's what it's like! However our dog likes to duck under tree branches and bushes so I think for the high summer months we'll stick to Frontline then switch to this later in the year.
It works! I have been on the search for a natural tick & flea repellent. Tick have been terrible this year in the northeast.After reading other reviews I was concerned about the yellow stain it would leave on my Westies. Here is what I did to solve that problem.My dogs weigh 16 & 18 pounds. I used the smallest size product. I applied it in 3 areas on their back not just in one blob. I allowed the product to absorb in overnight.

Not tough enough for South Texas Fleas I liked the smell at first but it was overpowering after a while. Even after bathing them I can still smell it. It seemed to relieve the itching for a day or two and then the fleas were back in full force.
A Puppy's Perfect Product This is the only product I use on my 6 and 8 month old puppies. It works extremely well without any of the sideeffects of the other flea products.

Works Great Our sons room was infested with fleas if you stood in one spot about 1015 would jump on you. My husband tried vacuuming them away but that didn't work. So we put down Borax and swept it into the carpet. It has been sitting there for 3 full days with no decrease in fleas. So last night we applied this product the entire bottle in 1 room over the borax and swept it in until it all disappeared. Today about 17 hours later there was only 1 flea.
Not Very Effective After one of our cats got infested with fleas some of the rooms in our house also became infested. I bought this product supposedly good enough for two rooms and used it in only one room of the house. You're supposed to vacuum it after up to 24 hours but I let it sit as the problem was bad. Well thus far I've let it sit for a week and I can't see any difference between the room it was used in and the room it wasn't used in the two rooms are not close to each other so this isn't a case of the untreated fleas jumping over into the treated room. There are just as many fleas in the treated room as there were before no change between either room.Just to see I did an experiment with a flea in a plastic box with this powder at the bottom. The flea didn't seem to be affected at all. Came back 24 hours later flea's still jumping around. Unless you literally pour this powder all over the flea fleas seem to able to be unaffected by this product. If all they're doing is standing on it they don't seem to mind. And I'm not sure the same effect couldn't be had by using any powder like flour instead. Many insects completely covered in a fine powder of any kind will wind up dying.Bottom line as far as I can tell doesn't do much to fleas. Disappointing.The other reviewer says it's hard to find. I'm thinking maybe there's a reason.
Mediocre At Best I applied two containers of the powder to three rooms. Two are bedrooms about 12x10 feet the other is a living/dining area roughly the combined size of the bedrooms. Plenty of powder as advertised on the label for the amount of space. After brushing it in and waiting the minimally required 60 minutes I vacuumed the excess and let the dust continue to settle on everything. No less than a few hours later the fleas were still jumping at my ankles completely unaffected. A week goes by same story.Save your money go get something better.
Terribly unpleasant but seems to have worked for us The citrus fragrance is awful and sickening and it's a messy hassle to use. However it seems to have done the trick in combination with treating our cat with Advantage. Some people might like the fragrance but it was noxious to us. I couldn't wait to get the smell out of our house afterward and couldn't stand being in any of the treated rooms without the windows open. The smell sticks around for a few days after treating and vacuuming.It was also very messy and billowed around a lot especially when sweeping it into the carpet. I wore one of those respirator masks when applying it sweeping it in and later when I vacuumed it up. I'm glad I did given how much it got into the air and how terrible it smelled the masks are a few dollars at Walmart by the way.The messiness and hassle seems to come with the territory for this kind of job and this kind of product though so overall I'm satisfied with it. The fleas were biting my ankles and lower calves before we treated but I haven't had a bite nor have I seen a single flea since we treated.For reference we left it on for a little over 24 hours. The package recommends leaving it for 24 hours but says you can leave it for less than that I think it said at least an hour. I figured that since I'd gone to the trouble to apply it I might as well leave it for the full amount and try to get the full benefit out of it.
Good Product This is a very good product but it sure is difficult to find. It even kills spiders and other insects. I use it on my porch mats. Wish it were more readily available.

Love the product We have problems with fleas every fall and Zodiac is my favorite product to use because it has such a lasting effect. It was effective for us on both black and brown fleas and the smell is easily tolerable. The reason I'm only giving it 4 stars is because I think it's a little pricey for the size of the bottle.
Best flea spray on the market I've tried all kinds of flea eradicating products in the past. This is by far the best. It may cost a little more but its worth it. No more bites on my feet and ankles. No lingering smell and no STAINS on furniture. A very quality product. Oh and the person who complained about it having an insecticide in it well duh. How else is it supposed to work? They all do if they really are going to work.Remove small children and pets for a a couple hours and spray it. Simple as that.5 stars.
False Advertising The page fails to mention the fact that this Flea spray contains a pesticide in addition to the Growth Inhibitor. It's not safe for use if you have young animals or children running around. This should have been mentioned on the page instead I had to wait til I received the product to find out. At a $10 nonrefundable shipping price and no reimbursement for costs to send it back it costs more to try to return it than to just keep it.
Least toxic and most effective I have done a lot of research on this topic. This is one of the best products and it is also one of the least toxic.It is always good to have a trustworthy expert for advice. This was a Godsend. First things first this is magical but only one component to fix your problem. Make sure you're got collars and sprays/topical treatment for the pets too if not flea lights like Victor to cover all areas. Used Adams before and did well but this seasons fleas were apparently ones where hell hath no fury in comparison.Zodiac helped make a mountain into a mole hill. We had a nightmare on our hands and were looking at bombing as being our last and only option.Enter Zodiac thoroughly sprayed on 8x5 carpet couch and two recliners. AS A TIP covering all of those areas well took the entire bottle if you're trying to gauge for your own needs.Thinking of keeping a spare on hand because fleas are scary in their relentlessness and heck knows its best to beat them at first sight.

DON'T waste your money on this product! Okay so I thought I'd save a buck or two!! Instead I'm going to pay more unless the store will give me my money back on this worthless product. I have a small dog who weighs 15 pounds. This product is rated for 33 pounds or less so you would figure the smaller dogs are going to get a larger and hopefully more effective dose. Well guess what happened when I used it EXACTLY like the package says? NOTHINGNADAZILCH!! My dog wasn't running with fleas but I had noticed 2 on him and there is a new baby in the house we are staying at so I didn't want any flea infestation here and transfer to the little guy. My dog not only still has fleas and yes it's only been 2 days but wouldn't you think SOME would be gone? but he is scratching scratching scratching!!!! He doesn't seem to be having any negative reaction to the medication but he sure isn't having a positive one either! I have picked 3 fleas off him so I guess at least they are moving around so that I can see them! He is shaved on his body and upper legs with a little longer hair on his lower legs and his head so there's not much room for the fleas to hide. I am soooo disgusted that I took the shortcut instead of buying the product that I know works on him Frontline Plus and/or Advantage not Advantix.
I had high hopes for Liberty 50 As the review title says I had high hopes for this Liberty 50 product. I purchased it in a local store for just over $16 for a 3 pack which was a steal compared to other brands. I usually buy everything on Amazon and now wish I had done so in this case because of the reviews. I have always used Frontline Plus and it has always worked amazingly well as did Advantage/Advantix that I used once or twice. To try and keep the explanation short people have been dropping animals here at my home in the middle of the night that they have abused and neglected to the point of near death. Being an animal lover and advocate I took them under my wing and nursed them back to health. One is a Shih Tzu and Pekingese mix and she is who I bought this Liberty 50 for because I was curious to see if something other than what I have always used in the past would work for much less money too!. The local store was charging $100 for a 3 pack of Frontline. I fell in love with this precious dog just as I did with all the other cats and dogs these people abandoned here and decided to keep her so I was curious to see how this product would work considering it sure would save a lot of money over the other brands.When she first came here her hair was matted badly and she was severely infested with fleas and ticks. It took 4 hours of bathing to kill all of them and make sure she didn't have a single bug left on her. The next day is when I put the Liberty 50 on her following every word of the application instructions to a T. After only one day of being outdoors with me not only did she get reinfested with fleas and ticks but mosquitoes were all over her too yet this product makes a claim that it not only kills but also repels fleas ticks and mosquitoes. So I really wish that I could give a rave review and say it works great but it did absolutely nothing except cause her skin irritation. I would *not* recommend Liberty 50 to anyone from my personal experience. I will stick to what has worked in the past either Frontline Plus Advantage or Advantix.
Best flea product on the market FINALLY something that works. I have a purebred husky and a husky mix. This is the ONLY product that has kept the fleas away. I've used frontline which i already knew was a joke but we had just gotten the dog so I wanted to get something on him didn't work AT ALL tried advantage advantix vectra they all did NOT work still found fleas on my dog. Where I worked carried liberty so I figured I would try it and FINALLY something that works. I've been using it for a couple months and NOT even 1 single flea on either dog. I check them often even though they aren't scratching I still check. My mom even uses it on her pekingese which has a very high flea allergy and has not had one break out since using it. Cheap and WORKS.
My Dog Hated Liberty 50 Maybe this product works for others but it didn't do a thing for my dog. I called the vet thinking he must have allergies and the vet confirmed dogs were itching all over due to allergies. So I assumed that was the problem since I had treated Tuffy with Liberty 50. I treat my yard and home with Talstar plus I treat it with a natural killer called limonene. That is a double whammy with professional stuff and natural stuff. I can't find a flea in my house or yard but the allergy excuse proved wrong. I found a flea on my arm while sitting with my dog. After an extended profane outburst I turned on every light put on some reading glasses and picked 67 fleas off my pooch. The Liberty 50 was applied 10 days prior to that day. If it worked maybe so for a couple days. If you like for your dog to suffer buy it.
Working great for us We've been using Liberty 50 for small dogs on our full grown 10 pound Taco Terrier Chihuahua/Miniature Wire Hair Fox Terrier mix throughout all of June July and August. We have not seen a single flea tick or other pest on our little guy since we started. Before using this we had tried flea collars and found many fleas on him. We are buying another 3 month supply because for our little guy it has worked wonders.
Had no effect on any of my six dogs I have 6 dogs. 2 yorkies 2 wolf hybrids 1 border collie who is highly allergic to fleas and a chihuahua mix. I fight this fight every summer trying to find a product that will kill the fleas. Frontline and Advantage doesn't do it. I was hoping this would. I purchased the big dog and the little dog package. Alas 1 week after application my dogs who hadn't had fleas now were infested my border collie is in misery till another product gets here. It's a waste of money.

One less chemical in your home I find this flea spray very good as far as killing fleas without chemicals. I don't like how much foam it creates when I spray my dogs' and cats' coat. They are both short haired. The foam stays put so it doesn't spread across their coat very well. I love the smell and it kills fleas on contact. I use it more on the pet beds and on my carpet before I vacuum. I also flea comb my pets and spray the comb after each brush stroke to kill the fleas.Over all it works great and kills the fleas! Just not so well spreading over short haired dogs and cats.
Vets Best Natural Flea spray If you have Astma do not buy this product it will give you an Astma attack. At the very least you should wear a gas mask when using this product. After you spray the dog with this product keep him out side for about a weekAs far as useage goesthink of this stuff as a tick dip you spray on and rub into the skin..Yes wear rubber gloves and wash your clothes after using it too You have to make sure you cover the dog completely with the spray and rub it into every spot on the dog. Because if you forget to do the head of the dog or under the dogs collar all the ticks and fleas will run there for safetyand the dog will be scratching there If you are going to use this spray you might just as well give the dog a tick bath and be done with it.. good stuff for cats
It works I have a huge problem with fleas which has been going on for over two years. I have tried all the products my vet has suggested only to see my bank account get empty and my pets scratching. So far I have been combing my pets and trying to get them used to the smell. It kills fleas on contact. I have not done the big whole house treatment yet.
It worked for me I have two indoor cats and have been feeding an outdoor stray who managed to sneak into the house and share his fleas. Fleas love me so I was getting new bites every day and was very concerned for my infant son who managed not to get bitthank goodness. I did not want to use toxic sprays or foggers in my home so at first I was trying to control the problem simply by using a flea comb and one of the popular monthly flea treatments on the cats including the stray washing all of the cats' bedding my bedding throw rugs etc. and vacuuming like crazy every day. Those steps helped me control the fleas but not eliminate them. The vet told me until I killed the fleas living in the carpet the problem would continue. So I went on the search for a natural nontoxic spray or powder to use on my carpeting and found this product.
Don't believe the haters its great. I love my dogs and bank account so I tried this and works great I have a small horse boarding ranch and my dogs and horses run the place all the time. Well the day I got the first bottle I went to spraying my Lab and found a tick on him and it was head board into him and the spray hit it and it came out like I hit it with a hot needle and crawled around for a few seconds and died.Now with your dogs or cats going out every day to run your property with woods and tall grass you will need to use as needed like I use at least once a week but its cheap and safe.I have sinus trouble and its not any bother like if you read on some are kind of off the wall with the reviews.
Pleasent to work with We came back from vacation to an infestation of fleas. With children and pets we had a concern with using other sprays and methods. We found that by giving our dog and cat a flea pill along with the use of this product and vacuuming we eradicated all the fleas in a short time 1014 days We have used it as a spray on the dog every time she leaves and enters the house. The spray is pleasant smelling and is safe to touch.
Good product Awesome retailer! I have waited for some time to write this wanting to try the product first. It does deter fleas on both my dog and cat but needs to be applied every few days as stated. The issue I had was with the shipping with the post office. The first order never came after waiting almost two weeks. After contacting SeaCorrals they followed up with the USPS who had aparrently lost the order so SeaCorrals shipped a second one. This one did arrive in a timely manner with 1 bottle full and the other 2/3 to 3/4 empty drained all over the packaging. Talk about feeling good and bad all at the same time! So another email to SeaCorrals with pictures of the mess. They not only thanked me for sharing but promptly sent a replacement bottle which arrived intact and full.

Solid product great price This spray is an affordable easy to use option to dog collars in order to combat fleas and ticks. I have been using it for a few weeks on my 3 dogs they spend the day in the yard and sleep inside at night with great results no ticks so far detected in any of them even though by this time of the year i would usually find a culprit or two on my dogs.I did not give the spray 5 stars because on 1 of my 3 dogs it seems that it produces a very mild allergic reaction where the dog spends a day or two after being sprayed scratching constantly. Besides that minor hassle it works as specified and like i said can't beat the price.
Beware! We used this as directed on our dogs for several months. The good news is that it does what it claims to do it repels ticks. The bad news i that it appears to have caused serious adverse health issues for our two 50 pound dogs. Our vet took blood from both dogs different breeds in the course of normal checkups. Both dogs showed strange symptoms including a very low liver enzyme. Diseases and disorders having been ruled out our vet perplexed asked whether we were using any pesticides that fell into a certain category she called very dangerous for animals. Low and behold Tetrachlorvinphos is the active ingredient in this product and is known to hurt the very animals we're trying to protect! Please do a search for Tetrachlorvinphos and know what you're spraying on your pet before you purchase this product. I wish I had.

Let your dog eat the money it might help more don't really This was an absolute waste of money thank goodness it was cheap. It didn't prevent fleas when I sprayed it on the dogs before we went outside and it didn't kill the fleas afterward. I would literally see a flea in their fur saturate the area with the spray and I could practically hear the flea going Weeee! Bath time! I'm pretty sure I could have come closer to getting rid of the fleas if I had just let the dogs eat a $5 bill. Doesn't sound like it would do much you say? Exactly. Neither did this. Oh and the smell is ridiculously gross. I'll never eat cloves again.
Love it! My dog has a long list of allergies and this is the only product that gives me peace of mind that she will not get fleas and does not make her sick. I use this along with the ecoPure flea and tick collar she has never had fleas and once I starting using both we noticed a huge change in the amount of ticks.
We Love This Stuff! My dog Roxy is allergic to all those toxic flea and tick prevent products. Aside from thatits all poison. I work in a dog store and we sell this. We sell out routinely. I sell this because I use it and KNOW it works well. We even tested it on my boss dog. There was tick embeded and she sprayed it. The tick actually dropped dead. It smells like cloves and you do hape to apply it often. Thats a small price for soemthing that works so great. Sago Palm Saver I had the same problem with my Sago Palms read the same article and looked for the product at Amazon. Lo and behold there it was with a good review for this application. Sure enough my Sago's are coming back and the white spots are disappearing.
Only works for a day or two. We have used this twice in our home and still have a pretty bad flea infestation. We first vacuumed like crazy bleached the tile floors then used the spray. I was pretty happy when we came home and there seemed to be next to no fleas but about two days later they were back full force. We decided to give it one more try about a week later and got the same result. This spray is definitely not a permenant solution.
Use This to Stop Disease Killing Sago Palms A scale type airborne disease is killing the Sago Palms in Florida. I have two of the very expensive plants in my yard that were dying. The technician who sprays and applies fertilizer to my yard told me that nothing could be done to save them. I went online and read article after article saying that nothing could stop the disease. Finally I came across an article claiming that Hartz UltraGuard Flea and Tick Home Spray would stop the disease. Figuring I had nothing to lose except the cost of the spray which is not expensive I ordered a bottle from Amazon. Bottom line it worked! I sprayed both palms and was dismayed when all the fronds fell off. However in a few days bright new healthy fronds started to grow in where the others were shed. Now I use the spray as an occasional preventative and my palms continue to thrive while others around them are dying off.
Ineffective Like the other reviewers I've found this spray as well as the corresponding one for cats to be very ineffective.
I FOUND IT HELPFULL!!!!!! Ok soo I got a dog from what was called a foster homethe lady feild to tell me that he had fleas well about 3 weeks later we decided that he didnt belong with us that he belong to a family with kids and more space dont get me wrong he was a great great dog and thats why we found him the best home well 2 weeks from that we started to get attacted by fleas really really bad so I had to call the new family and tell them..
not too impressed. I would have given 2.5 stars if that was an option. I used this to deal with a flea problem in my apt and after 4 days it only seems moderately effective. I plan on giving it a few days and if there are still fleas in my house I am calling a professional exterminator. Oh and I used their drops and they were worthlessended up talking to the vet who said to wash my cats and give them 24 hours and then I could apply Frontline which seems to work better and doesn't make as much of a mess on the cats fur.

Don't Waste Your Money Don't waste your money on this product. It does not work at all. And the spray for dogs doesn't work either.
Doesn't work and is toxic for pets Found this at my dad's the seal was unbroken. The thing claimed to kill all fleas within 10 minutes. Tried it on my dog found a few live jumpy fleas on him sprayed again. A few hours later he threw up all his dinner.He was given a snack a couple hours later and threw that up too. I have no doubt this is because of the spray especially after reading about it.Now I just have to pray that it doesn't get worse.
Temporary fix This is kind of like a flea deterrent. Basically it makes them move to the other side of the room and they will be back serving as a very shortterm temporary quick fix. I recommend an exterminator and Advantage or Frontline flea treatment.The good thing about this product is that it doesn't smell bad and it's cheap. If your exterminator isn't scheduled to come over until next week and you have guests coming over tonight use this on and around your couch. That's about all it is good for. In the long run it is ineffective.
