  • Remains effective even after swimming or shampooing
  • One treatment prevents further flea infestation for at least four weeks
  • Kills adult fleas, eggs and larvae

  • Moved over front frontline I have never seen a flea or tick on my dog until recently we have always used frontline so decided to switch to Bayer Advantix. The first month we used it our dogs became super itchy but after a week or so this settled down we found one flea near to the end of the first month so used it again and so far no further fleas. We have moved house so it could be there are more fleas in the area we are in. Ive been using this product for 6 months now and the first few days my dogs are really itchy then they are fine.
not as good as other products I put this on my dogs as soon as it came and I have used this kind of product before and this brand has not worked as well as the other ones I have used I am VERY disappointed in the way it worked.
DOES NOT WORK!! Less than two weeks after using this on my dogs I removed 3 ticks in one day from one of them. She had not been in tall grass just playing in our backyard.
Best I Have Found This is simply the best Flea and Tick product I have found Like with any medication monitor your dog for the first 24 hours dogs can have an allegic reaction as it enters the blood stream. Dogs will tend to scratch more in the first couple of days if they have a bad infestation as the fleas die.
Price is right! As always Amazon provides the best prices compared to places like 1800petmeds or even my vet. I have never had an issue with fleas and ticks with my little Brody and I plan on keeping it that way and the K9A is exactly what I am going to use to help. After speaking with my vet and doing some reading online it seems that the K9A has had more success stories and less bad effects compared to a few of the other bigname flea/tick drops. Best price per dose also helps .
so far the best I was impressed to read that k9 advantage kills and repels fleas and ticks as well as the life cycles of fleas but i was a little skeptical to the fact that it actually would. Well i have been using this product for the last two months so far. My dogs use to always come back inside with at least 1 tick on them and since using this product I have not seen ANY ticks on them. With fleas I have seen some on them. Not a lot however I do have cats that I have a harder time keeping fleas off of and I think maybe they have jumped onto the dogs but I don't think they bite however i am not positive.
Works where Frontline does not BUT. Last year I adopted a puppy and took him to work with me every day for the next 8 months. The company I worked for in San Francisco is dogfriendly and there were upwards of 100 dogs in the building on any given day. Since much of the building is carpeted fleas were definitely an issue and pretty soon my pup had them. I used Frontline and treated my apartment and the carpet around my desk at work with both diatomaceous earth and something to kill the eggs but 2 weeks later he had picked them up again. I waited one more week applied Frontline again and within two weeks he was infested again. A coworker told me his wife is a vet tech and according to her fleas in some areas are becoming immune to Frontline.I wish I could tell you whether it's NorCal or SoCal that had the Frontlineimmune fleas but I was traveling back to L.A. every weekend during this period so it's possible he was picking them up there too though not as likely as his exposure to other animals on weekends was minimal. On the advice of a friend who swears by Advantix II I switched to using it and voila! No more fleas. It definitely worked and quickly. I was convinced.BUT last night I used it on my younger dog for the first time this year and the new dog we adopted in December. I used the sizeappropriate dose for each. The new smaller dog 7 lbs seems fine but my younger dog around 15.5 lbs has been really agitated and distressed since then and is biting at his tail and seems to be unable to get comfortable. He's not crying or whining but he's alternating between hyper and agitated or clingy. He's also been panting occasionally despite his short summer haircut and the airconditioned house.
Works great I don't know whats up with all the negative nancies and their bad reviews of this product. Simply read the instructions apply product where it instructs you and your dog will be flea free. I have never seen a better price for this product than this.Note I did eat an orange one day after applying this product to my dog. I did not follow the instructions to wash my hands immediately after applying. A few minutes later I started noticing that my mouth was salivating at a higher rate than normal. I immediately remembered that this stuff is pretty toxic and assumed I was going to die and went into full panic mode. I am writing this review so I am happy to report that it was all in my head and I am still alive. Will purchase this product from Amazon again.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOTHING BUT THE BEST FOR OUR DOG!!! YEAH RIGHT!!! I gave our Shih Tzu Stymie he's 1 year old K9 Advantix 2 on Friday night. Saturday morning stymie was off the wall. We had no idea what was wrong with him we took him to our vet Saturday they did not know what was wrong plus we had to take him to the vet on Sunday and they gave him pain pills tramadol and pepcid ac. Finally I called Bayer Health Care and they knew right away. It is called Parasthesia. The dog was extremely uncomfortable he kept crying and would walk 2 feet then he would cry this is still going on a week later Bayer told me this happens sometimes you have to give the dog a bath in Dawn dishwashing soap detergent. And then put Vitamin E in the tail end area. Stymie's nerve endings were killing him. I followed the directions exactly and put the advantix 2 in 3 areas like you are supposed to. It went into his hind area and started to burn him. What he had felt we were told was a very bad tingling sensation down on that area.
not bad so far so good with this product my only grievance is that it has a really oily residue on the fur. only been using it for two applications.
